weeks 35 & 36 8 months!!

I can't believe that my baby is already 8 months! Time has FLOWN by. And I also can't believe it's only been 2 weeks since my last post. It feels like forever ago when I was looking at the pictures I posted last time.

We now have 8 teeth, and Rob and daycare say that they think he's working on more. I can't remember how many baby teeth there are... 10? 20? I think it's 20. I really expect that he'll have most of them if not all by the time he's a year old.

For anyone who's skittish about cat pictures, I'm sorry, but there are some cat pictures after the jump. Xavier and the cats are just too cute together. I have to take pictures and I have to share them.

So yeah. Wow. 8 months...

We had some adventures this past weekend. We went to East TN because Rob had a tournament he was judging so Xavier and I tagged along and got to see some friends and family. It was fun, but poor kid got really tired because he didn't get to take his normal naps. So the ride home was NOT fun because he was overly tired and didn't want to be confined any longer.

Today he had a bit of a fuss. He's always been kind of congested but lately I've been able to see ... er... snot... so I decided to try to wipe his nose which didn't do much so I suctioned it when he used to think was funny but today he did NOT like it. To make matters worse, I knew I needed to change his diaper too, which you know makes babies oh so happy. So he was still screaming from me trying to clean out his nose and then he had a super messy diaper. It turns out he was also really tired so me messing with him just made him more upset.

Still not taking bottles at daycare. But we have recently started experimenting with sending baby food with him to daycare. I'm not thrilled with the idea, but at least he's getting SOMETHING in him and then of course he nurses when I'm home. And when Rob watches him he can usually get him to take a bottle or so. But amazingly enough he is eating babyfood at daycare though he won't eat anything for the most part with me.

Whether it's from him refusing bottles or just naturally with being more mobile, he's starting to slim u a tiny bit. Still a chunky monkey, but some of his onesies that used to be skin tight are fitting more loosely.

Speaking of being mobile, he is on the move! Very active. Does not really like being confined. He wants to go go go.

That's really all I can think of right now. So on to the pictures. Again, if you are opposed to cats, don't follow the link!
